KLEIST Legal Law Firm processes personal data about you in a number of situations. This happens, among other things, when we establish a client relationship and we provide counselling, or if you otherwise come into contact with us, e.g. as a party or witness in a case, if you apply for a job with us or visit our website.

KLEIST Legal processes your personal data for the purpose of providing services and client administration.
The purpose is to manage the client relationship, including client and case creation, invoicing, quality management and control, and to administer, manage and develop our business and services, as well as operate and maintain systems. -

Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or the implementation of measures taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract, cf. Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR

The processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject, cf. Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR

The legal obligations that are complied with are set out in section 10(1) of the Danish Act on Measures to Prevent Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.

The processing is necessary for the controller or a third party to pursue a legitimate interest, unless the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require the protection of personal data override such interests, in particular where the data subject is a child, cf. KLEIST Legal Law Firm discloses personal data to external suppliers, specific clients, counterparties, authorities and/or courts. The disclosure is made in order to comply with legal obligations and/or if it takes place as part of case management.

KLEIST Legal Advokatfirma utilises external suppliers, including bookkeepers and accountants, who may be provided with personal data in connection with their assistance to us. KLEIST Legal Advokatfirma enters into data processing agreements with external suppliers who process personal data on behalf of KLEIST Legal Advokatfirma to ensure the necessary security.

We do not transfer personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA.

YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA SUBJECT

As a data subject, you have a number of basic rights. However, these rights may be limited, e.g. if the disclosure of information that you would otherwise be entitled to receive would violate the rights and freedoms of other persons.

Withdraw consent - To the extent that our processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time.
